You must select our basic insurance plan during the reservation process. <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Insurance mainly covers third party vehicle, property damage and bodily\/personal injury liability).<\/span><\/p><ul><li>If you\u00a0<strong>do not select insurance<\/strong>, you will be fully liable for\u00a0<strong>all damages<\/strong>\u00a0in the event of an accident.<\/li><li>If you\u00a0<strong>do select insurance<\/strong>, your liability on vehicle damage will be <strong>capped at 500,000 to 2,000,000 yen<\/strong> per incident (Varies depending on vehicle class).<\/li><\/ul><p>The following incidents, damages, and repair costs are not covered under the Collision.<br \/>\uff3b1\uff3dDamages exceeding the compensation limit.<br \/>\uff3b2\uff3dDamages caused by drivers other than authorized renter (not registered with our company).<br \/>\uff3b3\uff3dIncidents resulting from violations such as: unauthorized contract extensions, driving under the infl uence of alcohol, or lending the vehicle to others.<br \/>\uff3b4\uff3dFailure to immediately report the accident to the police and notify our company.<br \/>\uff3b5\uff3dPrivate settlements made without our company\u2019s approval.<br \/>\uff3b6\uff3dAccidents falling under the insurance policy\u2019s exclusion clauses.<br \/>\uff3b7\uff3dAccidents resulting from breaches of the rental agreement.<br \/>\uff3b8\uff3dSpecifi c exclusions, including but not limited to: Tire blowouts or tire damage. Keys locked inside the vehicle, lost keys, or lost wheel caps. Damage caused by improper use of wheels or chains, or due to inadequate vehicle equipment. Interior stains, damage from fl ying stones, or loss of vehicle accessories. Theft of the vehicle when the key was left inside while parked.<br \/>\uff3b9\uff3dAny incident not involving a third party, including but not limited to single-vehicle accidents, loss of control, collisions with roadside objects, snowbanks, guardrails, poles, trees, or other fixed or non-fixed objects.<\/p><p>Please note:<\/p><p>\u2733 Do not bring any pets (i.e. dogs and cats). You will be fully liable for all cleaning fee and damages in the event of an accident.<\/p><p><strong>\u2733 We also strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance that covers overseas driving. <\/strong>In case compensation is required, we will provide all the necessary documentation to support your claim.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Non-Operating Charges (NOC)<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If, during your rental period, you experience an accident, theft, breakdown, damage, interior equipment damage, or burnt seats that is not our fault, requiring repair or cleaning, you will be responsible for the following amounts as compensation for business interruption during this period:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Returning the vehicle to the designated rental location: 100,000 yen<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Impossible vehicle: 200,000 yen (plus towing charges)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u2605 Please note that non-operating charges are also applicable in the following situations:<\/p><ul><li>Accidents caused by you (including hit-and-run accidents where the other party cannot be identified), damage caused by theft<\/li><li>Smoking in a non-smoking vehicle<\/li><li>Pets coming into direct contact with the seats, or any stains or odors left inside the vehicle<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-7555\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse7555\" aria-controls=\"collapse7555\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> What if the car is damaged?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse7555\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-755\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-7555\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Please report to police and contact us HAYAKU RENT A CAR.<br \/>Even if you have selected Basic Insurance &amp;
